Dr. Michael Williams, Ph.D.
Dr. Michael Williams, Ph.D., is the Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Touro College. Formally, he was Faculty Chair for the graduate leadership development, organizational development, human resource management programs in the School of Business and Technology at Capella University, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Williams’s professional background blends 25 years of executive level coaching, consulting, and teaching. Dr. Williams has served in executive human resource management and organizational learning leadership roles leading strategic staffing, leadership development, industrial and labor relations, and change management initiatives for both national and international corporations including J. B Hanauer & Co. (Royal Bank of Canada) and C3I, Inc. (Siebel/Oracle). Dr. Williams is the co-founder of and principal consult in the Academy for Coaching and Training (ACT); a global high performance coaching consultancy in New York City. Dr. Williams and co-founder and principal consultant Professor Esther Muller deliver cognitive-behavior training and coaching to select client worldwide. Dr. Williams is a recognized expert in executive development and high performance coaching. He is a frequent keynote speaker and conference presenter at academic and industry conferences. His authorship and research focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy, adult learning, and technology-enabled instructional delivery. Dr. William's received his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Fordham University; a MS in Industrial and Labor Relationship from Rutgers University, an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University; a Management Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania; Wharton School Business (Securities Industry Association); and, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate from the Society of Human Resource Management. In addition, Dr. Williams holds a Masters degree in music performance and a Bachelor’s degree in music education from the New England Conservatory of Music. Dr. Williams is a frequent guest expert contributor and quoted international media in business, higher education, and leadership development. Recent television, radio, and print contributions include: NBC News, DF2- German Bloomberg Radio, and Newsweek.
